Beginner

Perfect if you’re new to French, learnt a little at school a long time ago, or have been using apps but are ready to start speaking.

No previous experience needed.

​

We’ll help you:

​

  • build confidence speaking out

  • order food and drink with ease

  • start having simple conversations in French

Rusty French

For anyone who has learnt French before but hasn’t used it for a while and wants to dust it off in a relaxed, friendly class.

​

You don’t need to remember everything - we’ll help you get back into it.

​

We’ll help you:

​

  • refresh what you already know

  • rebuild your speaking confidence

  • use practical French in everyday situations

Intermediate

For people who already have a good grasp of French and want to become more fluent, confident and natural in conversation.

​

You’ll already be comfortable using basic tenses and speaking in simple sentences.

​

We’ll help you:

​

  • build on your existing knowledge

  • develop your speaking and listening

  • explore a wider range of topics and language

Somewhere between two levels?

That’s completely normal. The right class is about more than what you remember - it’s also about where you feel most comfortable.

​Beginner French - 10-11am at Darcy's

Rusty French - 11:15-12:15 at Darcy's

Rusty French - 6-7pm at Velo Domestique

Intermediate French - 5-6pm Online

Term dates

We teach classes during the academic year. We break for school holidays
